Lamco Consultants has experience with the design and installation of a wide variety of networks ranging from small, 2 (two) machine systems to large systems. We can maintain and troubleshoot existing networks to identify bottlenecks, trace problems, and enhance efficiency. Lamco Consultants also provides experienced personnel to staff corporate help desks.
Lamco Consultants has a great deal of practical experience in upgrading a variety of network operating systems. Our team has successfully completed a large scale, 150-machine upgrade. This project was planned and implemented out over a period of 6 months and was designed to minimize the impact on the end user. Lamco added valuable experience in planning the upgrades in the most efficient manner possible. This bank of experience saves our clients money and prevents lost productivity during the upgrade process. |

Lamco Consultants also offers training services. We can train users on new operating systems after upgrades, or on new applications, including the most popular application suites on the market today. These training courses can be for individuals or groups, and are custom designed depending on the needs of our clients.
At Lamco Consultants, we do more than just hire instructors to train classes. We spend a great deal of our resources behind the scenes, developing the most effective customized training session possible by researching adult education and computer training trends. Most companies develop training from a traditional computer consulting perspective based on maximization of billable hours; we believe in spending additional time thoroughly analyzing the client's needs with the most up to date information at our disposal.
Lamco also offers a specialized service for executives who wish to establish a work environment in their homes. After an analysis of their needs, we provide hardware and software purchase recommendations, configure the machine, and train the executive. After the initial training and installation, one of our consultants will configure the office and home machines to synchronize the user's data between the two. This increases efficiency by keeping both machines current with minimal work on the part of the user |
